MOH: COVID – 19 Press Release Update – 8th September 2022
The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to advise the public that as of 8th September 2022, there has been an increase of reported cases of COVID – 19, 77 report cases in total, compared to the previous two weeks period. There is the likelihood that people may have been infected but fail to go get tested in the hospitals, clinics, private hospitals etc.
The MOH again stresses the importance of public and social measures in order to reduce the spread of COVID – 19.
With regards to travelling, as of Monday 12 of September 2022 there will be two changes to the requirements for international travelers to Vanuatu.
Firstly, the requirement for testing for COVID-19 before travel to Vanuatu is removed. Anyone intending to travel to Vanuatu will not need to get tested beforehand if they have no symptoms of COVID-19.
The second change is that masks are no longer required to be worn on flights to Vanuatu and at the airport upon arrival to Vanuatu.
