NEW: Business Plan Development Program
The role of the Vanuatu Chamber of Commerce (VCCI) is to provide support and skills development for Businesses with a business license. VCCI currently offers businesses a large range of support services such as workshops, one-on-one business mentoring, women in business programs and business & life coaching.
This new program that VCCI will be offering, is for businesses wishing to establish a professional business plan. The business planning program is a two-month program where you will need to be committed to working with the Chamber on an average of 2 mornings a week, every week throughout the months of September & October 2021. The program applies to business owners and/or decision makers (please do not send in representatives to attend) who are willing to commit themselves to their skills development during this time frame.
In this program you will gain more knowledge on financial management, how to properly market your services and products, tips and tools for employment law, human resource topics such as tips for identifying good staff to improve some knowledge and skills in the area of recruitment and retention, and skills in the areas of communication (staff relations and engagement) and performance management. All these business topics will help give you insights on heading on the right direction in driving your business, setting goals, and lead to you developing a successful business plan.
This program is free of charge, you do not need to spend a penny! However, only applicants that demonstrate they can make time and commit to the program will be accepted.
Who can be part of the program?
- Valid Business License Holder
- An operating Business of a minimum of 2-3 years
- Someone who is the owner or business decision maker who can commit to attending the sessions.

What will be learnt in the program?
We have a mixture of workshops in preparation of drawing up your business plan. You will be involved in CANVAS- A simple business plan on one-page, FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT – go through basic simple accounting steps. HUMAN RESOURCE – Improve engagement, communication with Staff, tips for recruitment. MARKETING – Gives you a picture of the importance of Marketing & advertising. GOAL SETTING – A touch of Business & Life on how to set Goals. All these to capture in 2 months.
