Vanuatu Young Entrepreneurs Council

The Vanuatu Young Entrepreneurs Council (VYEC) was created in August 2016 following a Youth Economic Empowerment Forum in Port Vila, with the support of the International Labor Organisation (ILO). VYEC is a standing council of the Vanuatu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

VYEC’s main objective is to develop a national advocacy and technical entity to advocate for a business environment that facilitates and promotes young entrepreneurship. Through VCCI’s support, VYEC aims to promote best practice and influence policy development affecting young entrepreneurs to create an enabling environment for young people.

It’s an exciting time to engage with VYEC as it moves to reinvigorate its Council and engage in a range of activities in 2019. Watch this space!
