Who Says Reporting Writing Isn’t Fun! Airports Vanuatu and Terminal Services invest in their staff
VCCI’s Business Training Officer Irene Titek recently completed a 4 day intensive training with Airports Vanuatu and Vanuatu Terminal Services Unit staff on ‘Report Writing Skills’. A total of five Supervisors and one Manager attended the training from 21st to 24th of October 2019, held in Vanuatu Terminal Services Unit Training Room.
Aspects of the training were focused on working through and understanding each participant’s current report writing practices and discussions around the organisation’s goals and strategic plans, for staff to better understand what role their reporting played in decision making for the organisation. From this analysis participants learnt new ways to utilize their skills to write more effective monthly reports that contained the right information and to meet the organisations’ expectations.
The training also included interactive discussions on how to improve their report writing procedures, and how to overcome some of the challenges in collecting data for analysis. This solutions based approach to problem solving can now be integrated into operational planning documents that feed into the success of AVL and VTS to reach their goals.

All participants who completed their training were awarded a Statement of Completion certificate, and a sense of great achievement.
