Giving our future women in business a helping hand

Would you like to offer a place at your office or organisation for 4 weeks to grow a young woman’s experience of a professional workplace? CARE and SISTA are looking for organisations and workplaces who are interested in providing internships for up to 20 days. All participants receive a stipend to cover their costs, so it is at no cost to you to participate.

The internships provide a wonderful opportunity for organisations and workplaces to bring in fresh perspectives and discover new ideas from young women, enhance the supervisory skills of your staff and have an extra pair of hands to support your work.
What we need from you as a host organisation is:

  • A willingness to support young women leaders emerging in workforce
  • A willingness to learn how to make a workplace more gender equitable
  • A clear job description
  • Evidence of a safe working environment
  • A supervisor or mentor to be assigned to support skills development and assign tasks
  • Be based in Port Vila

If you are interested, can you please email Antoinette at reception@vcci.vu, or call her on 27543.

We thank you for your positive consideration,

The VCCI team
