INVITATION TO THE TALANOA SESSION ON THE 2050 STRATEGY AND THE PTI NETWORK
The Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat is pleased to share details of the upcoming Talanoa Event that will take place at the Pacific Island Forum Conference Room, Suva, Fiji on 24 April 2023, from 3:30pm-5:00pm.
- The Talanoa is organised by the Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) and the Pacific Trade and Invest (PTI) Network.
- The PTI was created as the international trade and investment promotion entity for Member countries to fill a regional service gap, support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to succeed in international markets and build capacity to bring about increased trade and investment. The PTI Network has developed its new strategic framing for the next 4 years, and within it the measures the global offices will undertake to achieve export and investment targets.
- The Talanoa Event will highlight the 2050 Strategy for the Blue Pacific that was endorsed by Leaders in July 2022. The event will facilitate an appreciation of the 2050 Strategy’s link to the export and investment facilitation services that the Pacific Trade Invest (PTI) delivers for Forum Members.
