DISASTER RECOVERY VISA ACTIVATED TO ASSIST BUSINESSES IN THE RECOVERY PHASE

The Vanuatu government, Immigration services has activated a special visa category called the, “Disaster Recovery Visa” that has been designed to help companies and businesses to bring in foreign nationals to help in the recovery process post the 7.4 Magnitude Earthquake that hit Port Vila on December 17th , 2024.

Q1. How do you access the application?
The application can be accessed online on the website, here is the link to the site :

https://evisa.gov.vu/visas

Q2. What are the requirements?
The applicant will need to provide personal travel details and a letter of support from the company, bringing them in with details of the job and duration of stay.

Q3. What is the Maximum Duration of stay and can extensions be made?
The Maximum Duration of stay is one year with multiple entries and extensions to this visa is not permitted.

Q4. What is the Visa Applica Fee?
The Visa application is free of charge.

Q5. What is the Timeframe for Visa Approval?
The time frame for approval after the submission of application is Three (3) Working Days.
