About the organisation – The Vanuatu Chamber of Commerce and Industry is Vanuatu’s Private Sector national representative body. All business license holders are automatically members of the VCCI. The work undertaken by the VCCI is varied, focusing on advocacy and lobbying on behalf of its membership, providing information and advice to its membership and business development support via its service such as the running of workshops, projects and programs here and at provincial level to support the development of Vanuatu’s micro, small, medium and large businesses. We are here to service all industry sectors including tourism agriculture, manufacturing, retail, at national and provincial levels.
About the role – In this role, the Assistant Provincial Officer will be responsible for supporting the Provincial Officer in representing the Chamber and the management of service delivery in the Northern provinces. The office is based in Luganville, Santo.
We are looking for someone who can assist in the management of activities and budgets, and who can contribute to the strengthening of relationships with important stakeholders being our members and the Vanuatu Government.
The Assistant Officer will be responsible for the operations of the VCCI office in Luganville when the Provincial Officer is travelling and/or running workshops.
